Over one hundred and fifty beaches, the biggest coastal platform of the Archipelago, with three thousand hours of sun each year and a naturally calm environment, invite the visitor to enjoy Fuerteventura.
The coasts of Fuerteventura are 265 kilometers long. Unlike the rest of the Islands, its littoral is generally low, and the beaches, very frequently, are long and deserted, optimal for practicing any kind of water sport or simply for taking a walk under the warm temperatures thanks to the fresh winds brought in by the trade winds.
Only 100 kilometers away from Fuerteventura, the second biggest island in the Archipelago, is the African coast. Its form is elongated and those who know the history of the place assure that it is the most ancient of the Canary Islands.
This image, that is only one of the many that make up the photo album of Fuerteventura, is joined with the island amazing for its kilometers of golden sand beaches bathed by the Atlantic ocean.
