Record Go Destinations
These conditions are valid only for the following destinations: Alicante, Gran Canaria, Malaga, Mallorca and Tenerife.
- Guaranteed car category
- Clear, All-inclusive rates
- Local taxes: I.V.A. or IGIC
- Unlimited mileage
- Full comprehensive insurance, except on:
- groups Q and Q1, that have an excess fee of 600 €
- group E2, that have an excess fee of 400 €

- Full-Half: Customer will pay for half a tank of fuel and the vehicle will have to be returned half.
- Full-Empty: Customer will pay for a full tank of fuel and it will have to be returned as empty as possible.
- Full-Full: Customer will have to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
- Delivery of the keys, and traffic fines.

When you make your booking, you have to state the category of the car you wish to rent. Our team will do their best to provide you with the required car. If it is not available, we guarantee that you will get a higher category car at the same price.
No small print. No surprises. When you book with Record Rent a Car, you know what you'll pay. Our rates include:
The service to the airport is free. At all our destinations we have either a desk at the Airport or one of the staff members will wait for you at the meeting point
For deliveries out of our office hours (from 0:00h to 7:00h in Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, Malaga; and from 23:00h to 7:00h on the Canary Islands) there is an extra charge of € 30.
We offer child seats and booster seats for an extra payment of € 3,00 per day with a maximum of € 36. We cannot guarantee the accesories' availability unless they have previously been requested during the booking process.
Alicante, Malaga and Majorca:
In order to offer the best service possible at Alicante, Malaga, and Mallorca Airport, the vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel with the following options:
- For rentals with a duration of 4 or more rental days, the customer will pay in advance for a full tank of fuel and will have to return the vehicle as empty as possible. Please, be aware that unused fuel will not be refunded.
- For rentals with a duration of less than 4 days, the following options would apply:
Fuel prices may vary depending on the vehicle's model and on the market prices at the moment of collection.
Regarding the Full-Half option, Record Go would like to inform that, in the event the vehicle is returned will less fuel than agreed upon collection, the missing fuel plus a 15-euro processing fee will be charged to the customer.
In the same way, with regard to the Full-Full option, if the vehicle is not returned full, the missing fuel and a 15-euro processing fee will be charged to the customer.
Gran Canaria, Tenerife Sur:
We will give you the car ready to enjoy and with enough fuel to get to the nearest petrol station. The amount of fuel in the deposit depends on the previous customer. If you drop the car off with less petrol than it had when you picked it up, we will charge the difference to your account.
For your total comfort, the delivery of the keys and documents take place at our offices at the airport.
Please, enjoy your rental respecting the traffic regulations. The hirer of the vehicle will be responsible for fines due to traffic violation or illegal parking.
The driver must be in possession of a valid driving license that allows him also to drive in the E.U. The driver must have held his driving license for at least one year. All drivers have to be at least 21 years of age.
Payment will be made by credit card at the time of pick up. The owner of the credit card must be present upon collection. When making the reservation, the customer has to provide us with all the necessary details; otherwise the reservation will not be admitted. If you make your booking through our Internet form, a "Secure Transmission", or secure server will be used.
If an invoice in the name of the company is required,the customer will have to leave a 600-euro excess and the clients needs to make sure that the company's data is provided upon pick up before the rental agreement is issued. The rental agreement has to be issued in the name of the company in order to enable us to issue the invoice in the name of the company. Once the rental agreement is issued, it is not possible to change the data of the invoice as this is always related to the information stated on the rental agreement.
Our vehicles may not be taken abroad.
Our vehicles may not be taken on any ferry boat. Vehicles hired on the Canary Islands and on the Balearics may not be moved between islands.
All collected points from the Record Club membership can only be applied in the following destinations: Alicante, Gran Canaria, Malaga, Mallorca y Tenerife Sur.
The drop off place must be the same as the Pick up.
Record respects the customer's privacy and does not sell or rent any confidential information to third parties.

- Optional insurance to cover windows/windshields, tires and rims. For rentals of 1 to 6 days: 20€; for rentals of 7 to 8: 24€; for rentals of 9 to 28 days: 3€/day (maximum: 36€); for rentals of more than 28 days: 60€.
- Stress-free insurance: for rentals of 1 to 6 day: 30€; for rentals of 7 to 28 days: 5€/day (max. 60€); for rentals of 28 days on: 90€. In the event of accident, it covers tow truck expenses, tires, damage on the vehicle's undercarriage and windows/windshields. In the event of key loss, it covers spare key and the key shipping expenses.
- Fuel Prices:
- Fuel prices start at 45€ for basic cars and 120€ for the highest categories. These rates are subject to modifications.
- For bookings with a duration of 4 rental days on, the vehicle will be provided with a full tank at pick up and will have to be returned empty. The fuel charge is made upon arrival.
- A reimbursement for unused fuel will be made for bookings with a duration of 1 to 3 rental days.
- Extras:
- Out-of-hours fee (from 12am to 8am): 20€
- Second driver: 2€/day (max. 20€)
- Child and booster seats: 3/day (max. 36€)
- Child seats: available for children from 9 to 18 kg
- Booster seats: available for children from 18 to 36 kg
- For security reasons, both the child seats and the booster seats will have to be installed by the person in charge of the child.
- Note: No hotel deliveries. Both picking up and dropping off must take place at the airport

Cars cannot be taken abroad.
We do not sell or rent any information collected through our website to third parties, respecting privacy of our customers.

We have also in place the Verising secure Certification
providing save transmission of data in an encrypted format SLL. Customer credit
card numbers are not kept on our reservations system to reduce misuse by any

- What's included?:
- Unlimited mileage

- What damages are excluded from the SCDW coverage:
- Lost or stolen keys.
- Damage to the underside of the vehicle.
- Damage to the wheel or to the rim.
- Tow truck charge when it is the client’s fault.
- Damage to the radio-cassete-cd.
- Use of the wrong fuel.
- Damage to the window glasses or the windscreen.
- Damage to the car locks.
- Damage to the upholstery.
- Damage to the tyre (puncture of a tyre).
- Lost or stolen car parts (spare wheel, jack, etc). If they are stolen the client must report it to the police, if not the cost will be charged to the client.
- Dangerous driving or under the effects of alcohol or drugs.
- ANY DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE THAT ARE NOT ON AN ACCIDENT REPORT.
- When receiving the vehicle the client is given an accident report and instructions on how to fill
in all details. Paying the SCDW does not exclude the client, under any concept, from doing this therefore
if the accident report is not filled in the damages will be charged directly to the client.

- - Between July 15th and August 31st (both included) no replacement vehicle will be given to customers having had an accident for which they are responsible.

All our cars are given with the tank full of petrol.
The customers can choose between full to full or full to empty while
pick up the car. The colaborator must explain clearly the customer our
fuel policy. We have the two options as follows:
FULL TO FULL:: Possible for rentals of 6 or less days that are returned
to our office between 08:00 and 22:00 hrs. It is possible for are not drop-off on Airport a full to full pre-authorization (no charge) on credit card.
FULL TO EMPTY: The fuel will be charged directly on car collection
2.1. Rentals of 7 or more days are always full to empty
2.2. Cars not returned at our offices or at the hotel are always full to empty
2.3. Cars returned between 22.00 and 08:00 are always full to empty
Fuel deposit prices can vary depending on the car model and fuel market prices
in force at the moment of receiving the car. Note that there can be different
fuel deposit prices for one same category.
- Different Petrol deposits are requested depending on where is the client returning the vehicle
- No Petrol refunds are made at the airport, were clients are kindly asked to return the tank as empty as possible.
- For Hotel/Offices drop-offs clients are kindly asked to return the tank full in order to get the whole deposit back.
- The above deposits will be inforce as far as fuel prices do not increase over 3% on the current prices (24.08.2007).
Following requirements must be fullfilled in order to accept reervations:
- Third driver: 2 euros + VAT per day
- Baby seat: 3 euros + VAT per day (Maximun 18 euros+ VAT)
- Booster: 3 euros + VAT per day (Maximun 18 euros+ VAT)
- One way: 30 euros + VAT supplement. Free from 7 days.
- Out of hours (22:00-8:00): 18 euros + 16% VAT. Free from 7 days
- Ciutadella Harbour Delivery: 25 euros + VAT in office hours (8-13h and 17-20h).
Aditional 18€+VAT will be charge if delivery is Out of Hours. We strongly recommend the customer to call us before coming for this deliveries to 0034-971269911 to re-confirm in case of pay on collect.
- Suzuki soft roof deposit: 600 euros
- Extra Hour: 9 euros + VAT / each hour or fraction after agreed returrning time
- Hotel delivery: 40 + VAT both ways for rentals of 2-6 days. Free delivery from 7 days.(Not available for 1 day rental)
- Drivers must allow 70 minutes time to get their vehicles when booked hotel deliveries.
- Ibiza: Deliveries in: Airport, Figueretes, Playa d'en Bosa, San Antonio.
- 24th and 31st December: We will cover service only until 22:00 hrs

- - Dropp off must be effected within max. 59 min delay after the indicated dropp off time. If this period is exceeded, a further hire day will be charged.
- - All drivers have to be at least 21 years of age with at least one year of driving experience. For the categories R1-R2-J1 and G the minimum age is 25 years with at least 4 years of driving experience.
- - Child seats or booster seats are not possible as equipment for the Suzuki Vitara.
- - For hire periods of 6 days and more all vehicles will be delivered with a full tank and have to be returned empty, no refund made.
- - For hires from 3 to 5 days all vehicles have to be returned with the same amount of fuel as received upon pick up, our fuel policy is FULL/FULL
- - The vehicles cannot be taken off the island.
- - Once the vehicle is picked up, refunds for unused days of hire will only be made, if the vehicle is dropped off early due to reasons beyond the client's control, i.e. death of a first degree relative, etc.

Fuel prices are between 42€ for basic cars and 72€ for the highest categories. These rates are subject to modifications.
Fuel: The vehicle is provided with a full tank at pick up and it is returned empty.

When you make your booking, you have to state the category of the car you wish to rent. Our team will do their best to provide you with the required car. If it is not available, we guarantee that you will get a higher category car at the same price.

For your total comfort, the delivery of the keys and documents take place at our offices at the airport.
Naturally, we will give you the car ready to enjoy and with enough fuel to get to the nearest petrol station.
The amount of fuel in the deposit depends on the previous customer. If you drop the car off with less petrol than it had when you picked it up, we will charge the difference to your account.
Please, enjoy your rental respecting the traffic regulations. The hirer of the vehicle will be responsible for fines due to traffic violation or illegal parking.
The driver must be in possesion of a driver's license valid in the EU for more than a yeAr.
The minimum age to drive is 21 years old. It is mandatory to present the original driver's license.

Our vehicles may not be taken on any ferry boat. Vehicles hired on the Canary Islands may not be moved between islands.
Payment will be made by credit card at the time of pick up. The owner of the credit card must be present upon collection. When making the reservation, the customer has to provide us with all the necessary details; otherwise the reservation will not be admitted. If you make your booking through our Internet form, a "Secure Transmission", or secure server will be used.
The drop off place must be the same as the Pick up.

- Towing fees due to illegal parking or other client’s negligences, traffic fines, damage to wheels and tires, damage to the underside of the vehicle and expenses caused by damage to clutch due to misuse, loss or damage to keys, fuel error, extreme dirtiness of upholstery.
