Trails of the fail

Trails of the fall is an approach that comes from The Great Trail of Malaga, which is, by the way, an initiative of the Provincial Council of Malaga. This is a totally complimentary activity program for this fall that is going to take place in the most important natural spaces in Malaga that frames The Great Trail.

Within this program, that has been developed with the support of the Provincial Council of the Environment and Promotion of the Territory, we find on the one hand, some amazing interpretative visits that allows the visitor to know the natural spaces and villages of the Malaga area, and on the other, the geological and botanic routes. These routes aim for the participants to better know the setting and, at the same time, to promote the ecologic importance and the geologic value that all these settings have.

Interpretative visits I Trails of the fall

The initial proposal from the very organization with regards to the interpretative visits became a reality in the shape of 4 routes, suitable for all ages starting at 14. The main objective is the “environmental interpretation” of the landscapes observed during the trail. The routes, that you will find perfectly described in full detail on the Great Trail of Malaga website—they last approximately 3 to 4 hours with distances ranging from 8 to 17 kilometers—they can either be lineal or circular.

The first out the four environmental interpretative routes took place back on October 9th, 2016. The second one took place on October 23rd, 2016, yet due to harsh weather conditions, it was postponed to November 13th.

Since this is an activity so conditioned by the weather, it is extremely convenient to regularly check the event’s official website, just in case there is a date change.
