Types of child seats for your car hire with Record go Mobility

According to Spanish legislation, no child under 135 cm tall can travel in a vehicle without a child restraint system that guarantees his or her safety. The child restraint system must be adapted not only to the child's height, but also to his or her weight and the characteristics of the vehicle.  

At Record go Mobility we offer you three types of child restraint systems, according to a weight range in kg, from 0 to 13kg:

• From 0 to 13kg.A very comfortable and ideal child seat for newborns and up to 13kg that offers the best safety guarantees.
• From 9 to 18kg.forward-facing child seat that is perfectly suited to the needs of your child from 9kg to 18kg. A seat designed for older and curious children who need to be able to see the road from their seat as well.
• From 15 to 36kg. A perfect platform for children under 135cm tall and weighing between 18 and 36kg. Ideal for big kids!

According to annual studies carried out by the Dirección General de Tráfico, the use of child restraint systems reduces injuries in a possible traffic accident by up to 90%. Because nobody wants to suffer this type of mishap on their holidays, but that's why it's important to protect our little ones as much as possible, avoiding serious injuries such as:

• Neck injuries: more frequent in babies up to the age of 2 because their bodies are still fragile and developing.
• Head injuries: more common in children between 2 and 4 years of age, due to the fragility of their vertebrae, making them less resistant to sudden decelerations.
• Abdominal injuries: in children from 4 to 10 years of age, as their organs are not yet sufficiently attached to the abdominal structure.
