Doubts about coverage options
Am I covered if I drive during the State of Emergency?  

Yes. The Spanish Health Ministry recommends that travel is reduced to a minimum, but in the event of it being necessary, you can move around with your hire car and benefit from the coverage you’ve taken out.  

Questions about what to do if you can’t use your booking 
Can I modify my booking?  

If your plans have been affected by the restrictions resulting from the Coronavirus, until 30th April we offer the option of changing the dates of your booking beforehand.  

To do so, you can contact our customer service department through our website’s chat or by sending an email to reservas@recordrentacar.com. 

Can I change the drop-off date once the rental has started? 

Yes. By contacting our Customer Service Department, you can extend its duration, paying for the extra days as applicable, or decrease the rental days and receive a refund for the appropriate amount.  

To request this, please send an email to reservas@recordrentacar.com or contact us through our website’s chat.  

Can I cancel my booking?  

Our bookings are 100% cancellable and we’ll return the full amount provided it’s cancelled up to 48 hours in advance.  

In the event that there are fewer than 48 hours until the rental starts, it will be necessary to contact our customer service department through our website’s chat or by sending an email to reservas@recordrentacar.com. 

What should I do if I’ve booked through an intermediary?  

If the booking wasn’t made directly with Record go, any changes to the booking will have to be arranged through the intermediary.

What procedure is followed to disinfect vehicles?  

At Record go, we’ve reinforced the standard cleaning processes in all our vehicles and from now on, they will also undergo a disinfection process.  Learn more about the Record go Safe Plan.
