Spring and summer are the ideal time to plan trips, a weekend getaway or a holiday with family or friends.

There are numerous and varied possibilities to choose from, and even within what we could call a cultural trip or a party trip, we can talk about an intermediate type of trip between a cultural experience and leisure among friends: a trip to enjoy a music festival.

For some years now, the experience of going to a music festival and being able to combine tourism in a particular destination for a few days with enjoying concerts by your favourite artists has been one of many people’s favourite getaway or holiday options.

And if, in addition, the destination is a place like Mallorca, where you can make varied plans, for all tastes and for all ages, the trip gains points and becomes more attractive.

This is the case of the Mallorca Live Festival, one of the music festivals that opens the concert season in Spain and which is one of the most appealing for a getaway in May, thanks to its line-up, line-up of artists by day and the fact that it is held in Mallorca.

Where is the Mallorca Live Festival held?

The Mallorca Live Festival is held in Calvià, a town in the western part of the island of Mallorca in the Sierra de Tramontana region.

Calvià has all kinds of possibilities: Calviá is a place where you can relax in a peaceful atmosphere like the Costa de la Calma or enjoy the party on a beach like Magaluf.

Everything to see in Calviá

Without a doubt, a route through the Sierra de Tramontana is a great way to disconnect from the euphoria of the festival and find moments of relaxation in the heart of nature. Furthermore, the Paseo de Calviá itself, or the historic streets of the centre of Calviá, with buildings dating back to the 17th century, are places of interest to visit to soak up this area of Palma de Mallorca.

Furthermore, a good number of Calviá’s beaches are among the best you can enjoy in Palma de Mallorca: the aforementioned Costa de la Calma, Santa Ponsa or Palmanova are some of them.

And if you want to explore the rest of the island, one of the most popular options for getting around Palma is car hire at Mallorca airport or even motorbike hire Palma Majorca.

So, if you’re going to the Mallorca Live Festival and you want to explore Mallorca at your own pace and with whoever you want, take advantage of the offers on car hire and book yours now. What are you waiting for! A few days’ getaway in Palma de Mallorca may be closer than you think.
