Data used for the fulfilment of a rental contract or to meet a legal obligation will be kept while the contractual relationship continues and, once it has concluded, shall be retained for the legally prescribed periods of limitation of liabilities.
The data processed for the purpose of attending to requests addressed to Record go by a non-customer user will be kept for the legally stipulated periods of limitation of responsibilities.

- Confirm, modify or cancel your booking
- Communicate with you regarding your reservation and rental (e.g. to provide you with information about your reservation and rental, to send you reminder notifications before returning your vehicle, to respond to your questions or suggestions)

- Data retention periods: If you are a Record go customer, 3 years from the end of the commercial relationship with EC. If you are not a Record go customer, 3 years from the collection of your personal data or from the last time you requested information from us.
- Managing fines, in particular for:
- Transferring to the relevant Public Administration in each country that manages traffic fines, the identity of the main driver mentioned in the rental contract.
- Data retention periods: For as long as necessary to identify the driver responsible for committing the offence giving rise to the offence, which should not exceed 2 years from receipt of the offence. However, relevant information may be retained for a longer period of time from receipt of the sanction as part of an interim record keeping policy.
- The management and maintenance of personal data of a list of customers who pose certain risks to our business and/or staff, in respect of:
- Payment incidents resulting in legal proceedings
- Traffic accidents or repeated damage
- Inappropriate or abusive conduct towards our employees or our customers
- Use of our vehicles in violation of the general rental conditions.
- Data retention periods: 3 or 5 years from the date of creation or modification of the last rental and depending on the nature of the event.
