General terms and conditions
The contractual relationship between the customer and the company Record Go Italia S.r.l. (hereinafter also ‘Record go’), with registered office in Lagundo (BZ), via Josef Weingartner 4 CAP 39022, VAT no. 03191280217, (REA: BZ 239691), in the person of its pro tempore legal representative, is governed by the following documents:
i) The Rental Agreement, containing all the special conditions applicable to the Customer.
ii) The booking confirmation email;
iii) These Rental Terms and Conditions with annexes.
Record go leases the vehicle described in the Rental Agreement to the Customer/Contract Holder for the duration and at the fee indicated in the Rental Agreement.

The minimum age is 19.
The minimum age for renting a vehicle with Record go is 19.
If one of the authorised drivers on the rental agreement is 19 or 20 years old, they may only rent from the MBMR, EDMR, CDMR categories, and the junior driver surcharge will be applied to the rental price for each additional driver in this age group. -
Drivers between 21 and 24 years old.
If one of the authorised drivers on the rental agreement is 21 or 24 years of age, they may rent all categories and the junior driver surcharge will be applied to the rental price for each additional driver in this age group.
Record go accepts no liability for accidents or damage to property caused by the rented vehicle if the customer has deliberately provided Record go with incorrect information regarding their identity, address of residence or validity of their driving license.
Driving licenses sent by fax or photocopies will not be accepted.
Should the customer fail to provide the documentation and information described below, Record go reserves the right to refuse to hire the vehicle:
The contract holder, and all authorised drivers in the contract, must present a valid national identity document (for EU residents only) or a passport or equivalent document as proof of identity (for non-EU residents).
Documents not written in Latin characters must be accompanied by an official, sworn translation.
Faxed or photocopied documents will not be accepted. Only the original physical document will be accepted.
For the rental of three- and four-wheeled vehicles (cars and scooters), all drivers listed in the contract must have a valid EU driving license type B or a driving license of a country party to international conventions, issued at least one year prior.
For the rental of two-wheeled vehicles (motorbikes), all drivers named in the contract must have a valid EU driving license, issued at least three years prior in the case of category B licenses, and at least one year prior in the case of category A1/A licenses.
If a temporary certificate is presented, if it does not indicate when the driving license was issued, the expired license must be presented to validate it, otherwise it will be understood to be less than one year old and the vehicle cannot be handed over.
Driving licenses issued by non-EU countries or a country not party to international conventions (cars only) must be accompanied by the international driving to be able to collect the vehicle. An international driving license will always be required for the rental of motorbikes with a non-EU license.
Driving licenses not written in Latin characters must be accompanied by the international driving license or must be presented together with its sworn translation.
If the driver has been resident in Italy for more than 6 months, they must show a valid Italian driving license, unless they shows a valid driving license from an EU or Schengen country.
Driving licenses sent by fax or photocopies will not be accepted. Only the original, valid physical driving license will be accepted, provided that its authenticity can be verified by our personnel prior to signing the contract.
Record go assumes no liability for any traffic fines issued to the driver due to the lack of the necessary license(s) to drive a vehicle in Italy. The driver is responsible for consulting and understanding the applicable regulations.
The contract holder and all drivers authorized in the contract must provide Record go with their home address and optionally their temporary local address (flat, villa, hotel, etc.)
The addresses provided for the rental, both permanent and temporary residence, if requested by staff, must be proven and in the absence of proof, this could be grounds for refusal to rent or hand over the vehicle.
The maximum rental period with Record go is 89 days.
If the customer has booked directly with Record go, they may cancel the booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the rental.
It will also be possible to request a change to the reservation if the change concerns the collection and/or return time of the vehicle (provided that there is no change of days) or the flight number indicated in the reservation.
Restrictions
- It will not be possible to make changes regarding the reservation holder, rented vehicle group, rental dates, number of rental days or contracted extras. In these cases, the reservation must be cancelled and a new one made.
- Bookings that include a discount cannot be changed. The reservation must be cancelled and a new reservation made.
If the customer has made the booking through an intermediary, they must contact the intermediary to process any cancellation of the booking.
Record go will not allow extensions of the rental agreement.
In the event of theft, accident or breakdown, Record go reserves the right to decide whether to replace the vehicle
If Record Go believes that the damage caused to the rented vehicle was caused by a breach of the obligations and conditions set out in this rental agreement, accepted by the contract holder at the time of signing the contract (see sections 3.3 and 3.4 of the sections Obligations of the Contract Holder and Driver), or due to a high accident rate of the renter or any other circumstances for which Record Go may be entitled by law, the replacement of the Vehicle may be refused.
Record go will have a 72-hour window to assess the situation with the available information before deciding on the delivery of the replacement vehicle.
Only one replacement vehicle per Rental Agreement is permitted.
The vehicle must be replaced at the collection office and will always be subject to availability, any penalties, additional charges and new deductibles, with the first security deposit remaining as surplus to fulfil the obligations of the first vehicle delivered. A new security deposit of equal value will then be charged.
The contract holder is required to be present when the vehicle is exchanged and must show proof of identity by having their personal bank card with them at the time of the exchange.
Should Record go replace the rented vehicle in the event of theft, accident/loss, breakdown or mechanical failure, Record go will assess the situation and determine the most effective solution. The driver may be advised to go to the branch to obtain a replacement vehicle and/or a tow truck may be sent to tow the rented vehicle to the nearest Record go office.
In the event that the contract holder is able to go to the branch to collect the replacement vehicle, they must drive the rented vehicle, provided it is in running order, to the Record go branch car park with a full tank of fuel at the time set in advance by Record go .
If the customer has booked directly with Record go, they can cancel the booking without charge and receive a full refund up to 24 hours before the start of the rental. The booking will not be refunded if it is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled collection time, after the collection time has expired or if the vehicle cannot be delivered due to failure to meet any of the obligations.
If the customer has booked through a third party, they must contact the third party to arrange the cancellation.
If the customer does not show up at the desk on the day and time selected at the time of booking, the reservation will be cancelled and considered a 'no show'.
If the time and date are not provided at the time of booking or if these terms and conditions are not fully complied with, and/or there is an outstanding debt with the company, the booking will not be completed and will be treated as a 'no show' which Record go will not refund.
Customers who have booked directly with Record go will have 24 hours to arrive at the rental office after the collection time indicated on the booking, otherwise the booking will be cancelled and considered a 'no-show'. This condition is always subject to vehicle availability.
Customers who have booked through a third party will have 6 working hours to arrive at the rental branch after the collection time indicated on the booking, but in any case no later than the daily closing time of the rental branch, otherwise the booking will be cancelled and considered a no-show. This condition is always subject to vehicle availability.
Record go will not refund the booking fee in the event of a 'no show'.
In the event of a delay in collecting the vehicle due to a flight/train delay, if the customer expects a delay of more than one hour, they must inform Record go of the delay by sending an email to [email protected] or by calling (+34) 936 192 468, providing the flight or train number. Record go will assess any flight/train delays and inform customers whether they can wait for them or not, depending on the office closing time. If the person who made the booking does not inform Record go of the flight delay, Record go cannot guarantee that the vehicle will be available for collection.
If the customer arrives at the counter outside office hours, Record go will charge a fee for collection outside office hours (€ 40).
The booking holder has a window of 40 minutes to arrive at the office after the flight has landed or the train has arrived, provided that the flight/train has not been delayed for more than 60 minutes after the office closing time.
In the event of early return of the vehicle, Record go will not charge the contract holder any penalty. In addition, the contract holder will not be reimbursed for days that were not used.
For Just Go and Go Easy fares, the minimum cancellation notice is 1 hour.
When a customer makes a booking with Record go, they books a vehicle group that includes several models. It is not possible to reserve a specific model and, therefore, the customer cannot choose which specific model they will receive.

Fuel tank prices and the fuelling service are calculated on the basis of the official fuel prices at the time of collection of the rented vehicle. These prices should be consulted regularly, as they are subject to change according to the fluctuation of official prices. (Consult table)
At the time of booking, the contract holder must choose one of our fuel return policies: 'full-full' or 'full-empty'.
In both fuel tank return policies:
- Upon collection of the vehicle, Record go will deliver the vehicle with a full tank of fuel and charge the contract holder for the amount of fuel in the tank.
- The amount charged depends on the model/make of the vehicle received and the market price of fuel on the collection date. The contract holder will pay the price of the fuel used.
- When the vehicle is returned, Record go checks the fuel level in the tank and reimburses the amount corresponding to the amount of fuel in the tank.
- The unit of measurement of the fuel tank will be 1/8 of the vehicle's total tank.
- Terms and Conditions of the Full-Full Fuel Return Policy:
- If the contract holder does not return the vehicle with a full tank, Record go will charge € 30 for the fuelling service.
Terms and Conditions of the Full-Empty Fuel Return Policy:
- Upon collection of the vehicle, the contract holder shall pay the non-refundable service and fuelling charge to cover logistics and fuelling costs.
